Problem is, for large folders, this takes forever – partly because of the dog-slow wireless transfer speed, and partly because my poor Mac is having to act as an intermediary between the two drives. And the simplest way to copy the files I want would be to plug my USB drive into my Mac, mount up the NAS’s shared folder, and drag the files and folders across.
